This session is open to ALL riders of all abilities. Space is limited to 8 participants.
What to expect
In this two-hour session held on Padraigs's urban oasis-style patio, you'll learn and practice the following skills—all under the guidance of two BICP-certified instructors (a.k.a. The Stöke Sisters):
Body positioning
Ratcheting (from standing)
Safe dismounting techniques
Riding straight lines (a.k.a. skinnies)
Tight turns
Switchbacks
Cornering basics
Front wheel lift
Following the session, we'll gather on the Padraigs patio to share the stoke and open the floor for Q&A. You'll have the chance to ask us about skills, trail etiquette, gear and more. Your registration fee includes a delicious Padraigs beer or beverage (gluten-free and non-alcoholic options available).
When to arrive
Registration opens at 5:00 p.m.; we ask all riders to roll up by 5:15 p.m. to sign a waiver and affix a name plate to their bike. Free parking is available in the Broadway building's parking lot.
